Moon.com sits in a different category from a regular sportsbook or crypto casino. When I opened the site in 2026, I found an Up/Down market-betting product: pick an asset, say whether price will move up or down, set a wager, and optionally apply leverage of up to 1000x.
Supported markets go beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. I also saw stocks, forex, commodities and futures. The flow is easy to follow, but the risk is not. At 1000x, a move of about 0.1% against the position can wipe the full wager.

Our Moon promo code is BETHAP. I typed it into the referral-code field on the second registration screen.
During my check I did not find a fixed, advertised welcome match tied to BETHAP. I treat it as our referral code for signup, not as a classic casino bonus string. I only report what I can verify: where the field sits and that the code is accepted. I do not invent a reward amount.
Signup took only a few minutes. I used the Register control in the top-right corner of moon.com and followed this path once:
Moon states that KYC must be submitted before you deposit and approved before you withdraw. Expect a government ID and proof of address. The referral field itself was easy to spot, so I did not miss the code step.
Moon converts price direction into a simple bet. I do not buy the asset. I choose Up or Down, set the stake, and pick leverage.
A $100 stake at 10x equals $1,000 of exposure. At 100x that becomes $10,000; at 1000x it becomes $100,000. Moon says the maximum loss on a position equals the original wager. When the adverse move reaches that amount, the trade closes at the Max Loss Price. I should not go into negative balance on that position beyond the stake I chose.
In my session the Max Loss Price was the clearest risk cue before I clicked open. I also noted Auto Profit Close and Auto Loss Close tools for managing exits.
1000x is the marketing headline and the main hazard. Moon’s own Bitcoin example helps: with BTC at $60,000, a $100 wager at 1000x creates $100,000 of exposure. A rise of about 0.1% to $60,060 moves that exposure by roughly $100 before fees. A drop of about 0.1% to $59,940 can erase the whole $100 stake.
So 1000x is not a free path to a 1000x payout. It amplifies tiny ticks. Leverage starts from 1x. My approach is to try Play Money and modest multipliers first, then decide whether higher gearing is even worth considering.

Crypto is only one slice. During my review I found Up/Down markets on cryptocurrencies, equities, forex, commodities and futures - names such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Apple and Tesla appeared in the board.
Moon also advertises round-the-clock wagering on supported assets, including times when a traditional exchange is closed. Pricing is described as aggregated from feeds such as DXFeed, Pyth Network / Pyth Pro and SEDA Protocol. For some equities outside cash-session hours, prices may be derived from several inputs, including liquid perpetual futures where relevant.
That distinction matters: a weekend equity print on Moon is not identical to a live NASDAQ cash quote while the exchange is shut.
Fees change the math on every trade, so I checked help.moon.com before risking size.
| Moon fee | How it works |
|---|---|
| Opening fee | 1% of the wager |
| Holding / rolling fee | Dynamic fee every 8 hours when applicable |
| Performance fee | Minimum 10% of realized profit on wins (none on losses) |
| Liquidity adjustment | Closing price may reflect available liquidity |
The 1% opening fee is taken on the wager, not on leveraged notional. Example: a $1,000 wager at 10x creates $10,000 of exposure, yet the opening fee is $10. The 8-hour holding fee can move with volatility, liquidity and funding conditions. On winning closes, Moon documents a performance fee of at least 10% of realized profit.
I appreciated that live P&L already folds in estimated closing execution, performance fees and accrued rolling costs, so the number on screen is closer to what I would actually net.
The UI did not get in my way. Flow: pick a market, tap Up or Down, enter the stake, set leverage, read position size and Max Loss Price, then open.
Play Money was the most useful training tool for me. I could watch how leverage and fees reshape P&L without sending real crypto. Reading that 0.1% can clear a 1000x stake is abstract; seeing the balance react made the risk concrete.
Learning the buttons was quick. Learning when not to open a high-leverage ticket took longer - and that is the part that actually matters.
Funding is cryptocurrency-based. Moon requires KYC to be submitted before a deposit and approved before a withdrawal.
After verification I used the Wallet / Deposit area: pick the coin, copy the address, send from an external wallet. I always re-check coin and network before confirming, because a wrong chain transfer is usually irreversible.
Because KYC is mandatory for real funds, I would not describe Moon as anonymous or no-KYC betting.
The Vault is a separate balance kept apart from the active betting wallet. I use it as a parking area for funds I do not want sitting next to open risk - not as a bank savings product.
Moon describes Vault access with 2FA, and funds can stay there while the account remains open. Moving value into the Vault also avoids sending on-chain transfers just to split bankroll from the trading balance.
2FA helps, but I still secure the login, email and device. No online wallet is risk-free.
VIP tiers run from Bronze through Diamond V and scale with volume. From the programme summary I reviewed:
These perks target heavy volume. I treat them as optional extras, not a reason to raise stakes solely to climb a tier.
There is no native iOS or Android app in my check. Moon runs in the mobile browser and can be installed as a Progressive Web App on the home screen. For charts and open positions I preferred desktop, but phone access was usable.
For this review I stick to what I could verify from the product and Moon’s published help material, not to unverified ownership or licence claims.
Positive signals I noted: mandatory KYC, fee docs on help.moon.com, documented market-data sources, visible Max Loss Price, and 2FA on the Vault.
The product risk remains high. A loss capped at the wager still means that wager can vanish on a small adverse tick at 1000x. Moon is also a young 2026 platform, so I start with Play Money and small real stakes if I fund at all.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Clear Up/Down market betting | 1000x can erase a wager on a tiny move |
| Crypto, stocks, forex, commodities and futures | Opening, holding and performance fees |
| Max loss limited to the selected wager | Crypto-only deposits |
| Play Money for practice | KYC required before real funds |
| 24/7 access on supported markets | No native mobile app |
| VIP, Rakeback and Vault tools | Platform is still new in 2026 |
After spending time on Moon.com, I see it as a streamlined way to take leveraged Up/Down views on several asset classes - not as a sportsbook and not as a slots casino.
You pick direction, stake and leverage. Max Loss Price makes the downside visible, and Play Money is a practical way to learn before depositing crypto.
The cost of that simplicity is real: up to 1000x leverage is aggressive, and the 1% opening fee, 8-hour holding fee and minimum 10% performance fee all cut into winners.
If you decide to open an account, use Register in the upper-right corner, complete username / email / password, then date of birth, and enter our Moon promo code - BETHAP - in the referral field on the next screen. My take after testing: practice with Play Money first. The product is easy to click; leverage is the part that needs respect.
